Izzy's mother, Enya vd Wateringhoeve, participates in the 1m50 trials under the saddle of the British rider Chloe Aston. The name ‘vd Wateringhoeve’ refers to the stud farm of Dirk Govaerts.
“We hadn't bought Izzy so long ago either. During the qualification for the Belgian Championship held in Gèsves, he had already proven that he possessed excellent qualities. Unfortunately he had one penalty point for time there. Enya's mother is still at Picobello's stables.” states a member of the Ruant family.
