't Is Voltaire, the 9 year old descendant from our breeding mare Only Picobello (also her first foal) achieved 3rd place in the highly prized Wellington tournament last week. This mare has already shown her qualities since she was a foal, but she hadn't really shown what she has on offer as a young horse, until she showed her competence during a number of initial trial jumps. At the age of 4 she was sold by Picobellohorses to Femke Van Neck, who trained her and entered her in competition up until last year. She is currently competing in junior competitions with Brett Belington in America, where she achieves very good results time and time again.
No doubt we will hear a lot more about them...
