Many follow this prestigious jumping competition during the Christmas holidays. Picobellohorses didn't want to miss this edition either and participated with Picobello Hopkins de Wulf Selection. This 8 year old out of Dream d'Hedge de Wulf Selection x Winningmood vd Arenberg started on the opening day with a nice clear round in the 1.40 trial in the CSI2*. On day 2 Julie-Pascale chose to ride in the Queens Cup. This 1.45 trial in the CSI 5*, in which only ladies appear at the start, is not to be underestimated. Hopkins and Julie-Pascale made it to the jump-off, in which they again scored a clear round and finished a worthy 6th place. In the Grand Prix (1.45), on the third day, the duo made an unfortunate fault at the last obstacle in the primaries which narrowly prevented them from achieving a place in the jump-off.
Picobellohorses can look back with satisfaction on a successful last jumping competition in 2015. Here's to 2016!
