Picobello Elando - son of Diarado - again demonstrated his jumping qualities during a fast round. In a senior competition Picobello Elando, with his rider, Gilles Nuytens, who is only 16, jumped to the top 3 in the 1.35 category on Friday.
His Grand Prix horse Picobello Jade also put in an excellent performance. Except for an unfortunate fault on the last obstacle in the Grand Prix 1.45-1.50, Gilles was able to look back on a successful weekend. Gilles Nuytens is currently riding his last year on ponies; thereafter he will be fully active in the junior categories from next year onwards.
