There were 20 starters and the weather conditions were not very promising, but almost everyone completed the first round easily without any faults. The obstacles were immediately raised 10 cm in the second round and, in doing so, created heights of 135cm. Finally about 10 riders were left. After 4 rounds there were 5 combinations left which rode against the clock. By which time the height of the obstacles was already at 160-165cm. Picobello Chronos & Julie-Pascale were the first ones to start and they completed a clear round in a very good time. With this result they came 3rd after Vincent Lambrecht and Randy Sherman, 2 strong rivals.
