Recently an article was published in the 'Zangersheide' magazine in which Luc Ruant stated that he has full knowledge of the stud farm business. In 2006 Picobellohorses was present for the first time at the WK Zangersheide, the most prestigious competition for young horses. At that time it was Julie-Pascale who participated with the 6 year old, Rocky du Carel mare Marvella Ar Parkmare. 1 penalty point for time held her back from the jump-off, where she achieved a satisfying 7th place after all.


5 years later Guillaume appeared for the first time with his competent mare Gwindeline in the category of 5 year old horses. After a number of spectacular rounds and a place in the final he eventually finished at a well-earned but disappointing 4th place. At that time Gwindeline had only been at Picobellohorses stable for 2 weeks.


But it was in 2012 that Luc was interviewed as breeder with the best Z horse in the 6 year old horses category. With his mares Copy, Gwindeline, Eurocommerce Sao Paolo and Only he can always count on valuable descendants. His experience, knowledge and large interest have taught him to pick the perfect stallions time and time again.


In 2012 Luc was present at the WK Zangersheide with 2 horses, namely Gwindeline and Check Picobello. A 50% share of Check Picobello (Cardento x Orlando) was sold to Joppen Stable last year with the intention of increasing its net worth and in this way preparing the horse for more important work. Which, as it turned out, has been a success. Check and Gwindeline who achieved 8th and 9th place in the 6 year old horses category have been noticed by many. Immediately after Zangersheide Check was sold to Milstein Stable and he will be spending his future career in America.
