Gilles Nuytens 2de Belgisch Kampioenschap Junioren 2018

On day 1, Gilles Nuytens came in 7th place with Picobello Jade. Thibault Philippaerts took the lead. On day 2, the course was very difficult and  the first bars fell very quickly. Gilles and his 8 year old mare Diarado were able to keep the scoreboard on zero and managed to climb to 3rd place on day 2. On the final day there were 2 rounds. Thibault Philippaerts made one jumping fault and finished in 3rd place, as a result of which Simon Morssinkhof took the lead. Gilles Nuytens climbed to number 2. Gilles scored clear rounds in both of the final rounds and maintained his 2nd place thereby finishing his championship with silver. A fantastic result and a fantastic day as he had already become the Belgian champion with the ponies.  Copyright photo: Equnews
