For a couple of weeks now, the 23 year old Christophe Meirsschaert from East Flanders has been working at Picobellohorses, which is owned by the family Ruant. Last weekend, he made his international debut at the two star competition held in Bonheiden (Belgium). Besides a third place in the Grand Prix with his own stallion, Cascor Z, he also performed very well with the young talents of Picobello.

With the 5 year old Napoleon of Picobello Z (sired by Nabab de Reve) he was able to qualify every day. Napoleon is born to the mare Eurocommerce Sao Paolo. Yesterday they finished the final competition in second place, after they had also come second on the first day.

“After we had said goodbuy to Brian Vanhooren by mutual arrangement, we have now found a talented and motived rider in Christophe Meirsschaert.” Thus stated Luc Ruant to Horseman.

Picobellohorses is known worldwide for their young jumping horses. Over the past few years, Bertram Allen, Eric Lamaze and Scott Brash have also purchased young talents from Picobellohorses.
