CSI*/** Lummen was a training ground for the young horses and a pleasure for the "schoolmasters". Julie-Pascale with Copy achieved 2nd place in the opening round of the CSI* Grand Tour and she came a worthy 9th place in the Grand Prix (1,35) on Sunday. She was able to finish her weekend with a well-earned 2nd place with Wiona under her saddle in the 1.30 category.

For a short time now, Guillaume has been riding the Heartbreaker mare Finesse. She made her debut in the 1.35 categories in Antwerp. She had no problem at all and rode twice a faultless round in the 1.35 category. In the small Grand Prix she again performed superbly but unfortunately she made 1 fault. With her 8 years of age she was one of the youngest participating horses in the 1.40 small GP CSI**.

However it was Chronos ( 9 year old Contendro x Cruising) who kicked up the dust. He had already demonstrated his flair in the 1.45 category in CSI** Lummen, but it was only in Antwerp that he really showed his abilities. He achieved 6th place in the 1.40 category on Friday and was ready for the Grand Prix 1.45 on Sunday. This resulted in only 6 faultless rounds in 58 combinations. An unfortunate fault kept the duo away from the jump-off. However, his qualities didn't leave anybody unmoved and many were of the same opinion that this capable grey gelding has a very bright future ahead.
